This page gathers all the most frequently asked questions on our website. Here, you will probably find the answer to your questions about Maxim’s or about our range of gourmet products. If you cannot find the information you are looking for, please ask us, using our contact form.

CREATE AN ACCOUNT

Click on the Registration link, at the top-right corner of the page, right under My Account.
Just fill in the form (fields in red are required), and you will immediately receive your access codes, to start shopping on the e-shop. From your account, you will also have the possibility to save your contact details in order to make next orders quicker, to track your orders and to check them afterwards, to browse your invoices or to create a list of your favourites.

I FORGOT MY PASSWORD. HOW CAN I GET IT BACK ?

Click on Password Forgotten, at the top-right corner of the page, right under My Account. Enter your e-mail address.
An e-mail with your new password will be automatically sent to your inbox.

PLACE AN ORDER

When you are interested in buying a product, just select the amount and click on the Add to Basket button, next to each product.
You can check your basket at any time, by clicking on the My Basket link, at the top-right corner of the screen.
To remove an item from your basket, just click on the cross next to the price.
To finalize and place your order, click on Next step.

HOW CAN I KNOW HOW MUCH THE SHIPPING FEES WILL BE ?

Shipping fees are displayed at the end of your order, and shipping price ranges are displayed at any time.  Shipping is free on all orders over €60, all taxes incl. You can also read our Shipping page.

HOW CAN I CHANGE THE SHIPPING ADDRESS AFTER MY PARCEL HAS BEEN SENT ?

We are sorry to inform you that we cannot change the delivery address once parcels have been sent. Please use a delivery address that will remain valid during the whole delivery period.

HOW CAN MY ORDER BE DELIVERED TO SEVERAL ADDRESSES ?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to have several different delivery addresses for one single order. If you would like to send items to different addresses, please place separate orders.

HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER DELIVERY ?

At any time, you have the possibility to track your order on the So Colissimo website. Delivery dates are not binding and apply from the moment your order is shipped. However, we always do our best for your order to be delivered as quickly as possible.

HOW WILL MY ORDER BE DELIVERED ?

All orders are delivered by So Colissimo 48h:
• At home, between 8 AM and 1 PM
• At one of the 10 000 French post offices
• At one of the many So Colissimo partner shops
Once the order has been sent, we cannot change the delivery address. We therefore recommend that you use a delivery address that will remain valid during the whole delivery period.
Your order will be sent once payment and delivery details are confirmed. Preparation time is not binding and does not include potential delays resulting from payment authorizations.
Warning: if your order is damaged when delivered, we recommend that you refuse delivery or that you mention it on the delivery order when you accept the parcel.

WHERE DO YOU SHIP TO ?

For the moment, we only deliver to France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg, but we are already working on the possibility to deliver to Europe first, and then to other more distant countries. ORDER CONFIRMATION AND DEBIT ON MY CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT

Once your order has been completed, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail.
Your credit card account will only be charged when the parcel is sent. If an item is not available, we will get in touch with you by e-mail or by phone and will only charge you for the amount of available items.

HOW CAN I BE SURE MY ONLINE PAYMENT IS SECURED ?

Credit card payment is fully secured. You will find all the details related to our secured payment system on this page.

WHICH PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED ?

We only accept Visa and MasterCard and wire transfer payments.

WHERE ARE MAXIM’S PRODUCTS MADE ?

They are almost all made in France, except for a few very specific specialties that can only be made in Belgium or Switzerland.

WHERE CAN I FIND YOUR PRODUCTS ?

Gourmet products are distributed in many countries, through a wide network of department stores, delicatessen shops, gift shops and duty-free stores. Go to this page to check the list of French outlets.

WHICH YEAR WAS THE RESTAURANT CREATED ?

The history of Maxim's started back in 1893 when Maxime Gaillard opened the first version of the restaurant in Rue Royale, Paris, just around the corner from La Concorde and La Madeleine Church. The Maxim's Restaurant is therefore over a hundred-year old, and its walls are listed as a historical site.
Since then, Maxim’s became the immutable symbol of a certain French art de vivre, a combination of distinction and frivolousness, improvisation and excellence. The most exuberant parties found their match in that exclusive place, and the big money, the most eccentric artists, the most brilliant stars and the royalty have all been there on some occasion, sitting at one of the restaurant tables, steeped in history.
