Produced from an exceptional 2022 vintage, Maxim's Bordeaux Supérieur is a deep, elegant and generous red wine. Produced in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyards, it embodies the perfect balance between winemaking tradition and sustainable commitment.

A demanding terroir, responsible practices

Our Bordeaux Supérieur has the AOC Bordeaux Supérieur appellation, recognised for its stricter criteria than the classic Bordeaux AOC: limited yields, higher alcohol content and a minimum ageing period of nine months.

A sunny vintage and meticulous winemaking

Despite the hot weather and limited rainfall, 2022 produced concentrated grapes of great finesse. Traditional vinification, with temperature control and regular pumping over, ensures optimum extraction of fruit and body.

The wine is matured in concrete vats and discreet oak barrels to preserve its freshness and bring out its fruity aromas.

Tasting notes: power, harmony and length

Colour: deep red with purple tints
Nose: stewed red fruit, slight hint of smoke
Palate: full, long, complex, combining roundness, spices and liquorice notes.

This wine can be enjoyed now or left in the cellar for a few years to gain in smoothness and depth.
